William Berryman Scott

    William Berryman Scott was a distinguished American vertebrate paleontologist renowned for his expertise on mammals. He served as a leading authority on the Oligocene epoch in the White River region, notably as the principal author of seminal monographs on the subject. Scott also held a professorship in geology and paleontology at Princeton University.
