Zbiór ponad trzydziestu studiów uznanych polskich naukowców (archeologów i historyków), poświęconych pamięci wybitnego archeologa, wieloletniego pracownika Polskiej Akademii Nauk i Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, profesora Jerzego Kolendo. The articles deal with a broad range of issues – those concerned with the archaeology of different Polish regions (e.g., Mazovia, Western Pomerania) and of Europe (e.g., Sicily, Dacia, Germania).
