This textbook provides a comprehensive summary of current adsorption techniques applicable in humans. Immunoadsorption may be considered for a variety of indications, including rare nephrological conditions, dilated cardiomyopathy, autoimmune bullous diseases and autoimmune encephalitis. The main focus, however, has been laid on transplantation.
