More about the book
Per Arnoldi (*1941 in Copenhagen) is active in many areas of the fine arts and in his homeland Denmark he is a well-known figure in public life. His works are widely represented in the permanent collections of many important museums including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Arnoldi collaborates regularly with the architect Norman Foster and consequently he was responsible for the colour concept at the Reichstag in Berlin. He has also achieved international acclaim and admiration as a designer of posters, which convey their messages through a compelling visual simplicity which rises above the banal yet focusses on the essentials. Illustrated in four colours throughout, this book documents and comments on the highlights of his work from the mid 1970s to his most current projects.
