An outbreak of zombies wreaks havoc in the beleaguered town of Sunnydale, when a rogue virus starts turning the town's inhabitants into the undead. As its ghastly effects spread like wildfire through the population, Buffy's entire attention is focussed on containing the crisis and dealing with the fallout, leaving her precious little time to make sure that the people she cares about are safe. She can handle attacks by rampaging zombie hoards, but can she protect those closest to her from the contagion?
