Options for Exchange Rate Policy aims at promoting a better understanding of the diverse determinants of an appropriate exchange rate policy regime. The publication is divided into three parts. Part one contains an introduction, and conclusions and recommendations concerning exchange rate policy in least developed countries of Asia. Part two provides an overview of the major issues arising in exchange rate policy formulation in the selected least developed countries in Asia. Part three consists of country studies undertaken to review the experiences of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic and Nepal.
