An art book about the Parliament of Catalonia, following the line initiated by books on El Liceu, El Palau de la Música, L'Hospital de Sant Pau, etc. Joan Sureda has coordinated a team of sixteen specialists who illustrate the architecture and history of this building, from its origins as an armory, the attempt to convert it into a Royal Palace (ultimately granted to Pedralbes), its conversion into the seat of the Parliament, its role as a history museum during the Franco era, to its current function as the seat of the Parliament again.
