Shunmyo Masuno has two callings: landscape architect and Zen priest. As an eighteenth-generation Zen priest at the temple in the remote suburbs of Yokohama, Japan; Masuno asserts that his two professions are intrinsically linked together and that it would be impossible to separate his landscape designs from his religion.
