Katie is an incurable tomboy. Roaming the Highland wilderness, she finds the haunting island of Eilean Fitheach with its ruined castle and spectacular landscape. But the locals shun the island and rumours abound concerning the strange powers surrounding the land. When Katie becomes entangled in a set of terrifying events, the island could turn out to be a her last refuge, or a place of extreme danger.
