This thesis investigates heavy metal contamination in oranges (Citrus sinensis) near the Sansu tailings dam of AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi mine. Analyzing 20 samples, it found elevated levels of Arsenic, Zinc, Lead, and Copper in fruits from the tailings site, exceeding WHO safety limits, indicating a health hazard for consumers.
