Islam, dialogue and civil society

Presents a vision of an Islamic civilisation and civil society. Discusses how Islamic values differ from the values of western civilisation and culture, and also examines how dialogue between Islamic civilisations and other civilisations can occur. The author was elected president of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1997. His other publications include 'Bim-e mowj' ('Fear of the Wave') and 'Az Donya-ye Shah ta Shahr-e Donya ('From the City-World to the World-City').
