Skid Road

Murray Morgan, a prolific journalist and historian, authored over twenty books, including notable works like Skid Road and The Last Wilderness. His career spanned major media outlets such as Time magazine and CBS News, alongside hosting a radio show. Mary Ann Gwinn, an accomplished writer for the Seattle Times and Booklist, received the Pulitzer Prize for national reporting in 1990 and has served as a juror for the Pulitzer Prize in fiction. She is also a board member of the National Book Critics Circle.
