These easy-to-perform scripts are mainly action-based, with flexible casting and choral narratives. Each play is complete with five preparatory beyond the script sections. These non-linear building blocks explore elements, covered in the introduction, to familiarise the children with the material, including: character development, biblical application and dramatic techniques such as staging, costumes, creating effect, pitfalls and tableaux. There are also suggestions for extension material, including songs, poems and Bible readings.
