Language Endangerment in Nigeria. The Case of Yoruba

Focusing on the theme of language diversity as a cultural heritage, this seminar paper explores the precarious status of approximately 6,000 languages globally, highlighting the threats faced by many minority languages. It addresses the implications of language contact and the factors contributing to the extinction of these languages, emphasizing the need for awareness and preservation efforts.
