Set in a time when animals coexist, this classical African fairytale follows Pa Toroki, the clever head of the tortoises. When birds receive an exclusive invitation to a heavenly banquet, they selfishly withhold the news from Pa Toroki and his kind. Undeterred, he devises a clever plan, dubbed OPERATION HEAVENLY BANQUET, to gain entry. The story is richly illustrated by Cameroonian artist Tanka Fonta, whose vibrant artwork enhances the enchanting narrative, captivating readers with its blend of adventure and African mythology.
