More about the book

During the war of 1948, 750 000 Palestinians fled their homes. 60 years later, they now number around 4.3 million. They are still waiting to return to their homes. In 2005 there were around 404 000 Palestinians in Lebanon, many of them still residing in refugee camps. Unlike the palestinian refugees in other arab countries, the Palestinians in Lebanon are more or less without any rights. They may not become Lebanese citizens, there are a large number of occupations that they are not allowed to work as, and they are denied traveling abroad. Our goal with this book is to give the Palestinian youths in Lebanon a chance to tell you, the reader, their own story.
