Shadow of the Wolf

Mystery surrounds the disappearance of young Robins family. He grows up wild a Winterborn his only friend the headstrong daughter of the aristocrat Delbosque family: Marian. Their bond is tested when Marian is locked up by the Sheriff, a man who feeds his horses on human flesh, and rides under the blazon of the wolf.
