More about the book
The current global perception of Muslims as terrorists and Islam as a tyrannical religion, particularly after 9/11, has led to alarming violence against Muslims in their own places of worship and public spaces. The emergence of various sects over the past two centuries, such as Wahabi, Qadiyani, Bahai, and Ahmadi, has further complicated this landscape, with the Wahabi sect, founded by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab Najdi in Saudi Arabia, being notably dangerous. This sect has justified violence against Muslims who do not adhere to its beliefs, leading to the formation of the "Ikhwan," an armed group by King Abdul Azeez Ibn e Saud, responsible for the brutal killings of thousands, including women and children. They even desecrated the graves of the Holy Prophet and his companions. In an effort to understand this violent shift, I explored the book "Tareekh Najad O Hijaz," which details Wahabism and its impact. I translated it into English as "History of Saudi Arabia and Wahabism." The Saudi regime invests heavily in promoting Wahabism across Muslim countries, contradicting the Quranic call for justice and fairness. May God guide Muslims toward the Straight Path and Salvation. Amen.
