It has been twenty-five years since Words from Silence was first published and at least thirty years since I wrote it. My teaching has evolved over the years, and I felt that it would be appropriate to update the book. This book contains most of the content from the first edition, but I have added some additional passages to enhance the flow. My words are not directed towards your mind or that part of you that understands. The truth is beyond understanding, and it arises from the silence at the center of your Being. It is equally available to each one of us as we become present. This book is intended to encourage, support, and inspire you to become more present, and then you will know from your own experience what I am writing about. The best way to read this book is to read through it once completely, and then from time to time open the pages at random. The words in this book are powerful. They can inspire you towards your own awakening or they can act as a guide for those already on the path. Some of the words need to be meditated upon. They are like Koans. The meaning is not always obvious. The world is at a crucial stage. The opportunity exists now for man and woman to evolve in consciousness. It is as if God has extended to each of us an invitation to participate in a great awakening. This book is a part of that invitation.
