Based on a computer system, this is a method of learning French for schoolwork, business, holiday trips or anyone who wants to pick up the basics of the language in a hurry. It uses the established method of association to teach basic grammar and vocabulary for use in various situations, from emergencies to eating out. It also aims to build up confidence by enabling the least gifted of linguists to have, within 30 minutes, a vocabulary of 25 words and an ability to translate sentences.
