Barny and Sue come from the city, and so it isn't surprising that they feel lonely and bored in the sleepy Norfolk town of Aldport. But once they discover Marsh End, the old disused railway station, life in their new home becomes much more exciting. Together with their new friend Andy, Barny and Sue get to work clearing the points and the signal box, and repairing and painting the station. They even form themselves into a Board of Directors! When trouble threatens the station the Directors decide to take matters into their own hands - with surprising results...
