Created in the early 1480s in Bourges, the Hours of Guy Le Peley is a book of hours containing prayer services in Latin preceded by a calendar in French. Decorated with luxurious colors and abundant gold, it boasts sixteen historiated initials, three small miniatures, and fifteen full-page miniatures. The facsimile attempts to replicate the look-and-feel and physical features of the original document; pages are trimmed according to the original format; the binding might not be consistent with the current document binding.
