Groningen is highlighted as a pivotal case study, as the authors have devoted their passion to this city. Urban planner Jeroen de Willigen served as city architect there for six years, providing the framework for this publication. Notably, few cities in the Netherlands tell their story as completely and uniquely as Groningen.
