1976, 1st oversize hardcover edition, in dj, Johns Hopkins University Press, 213 pages. Lithographic art from the sheet music of 19th century America. Some color, but mostly black and white. 100 sheet music covers are reproduced here. These are from the author's own private collection. They range from "The Log House" in the 1820's, to "Get Your Lamps Lit" in 1895. Wonderful.
