Skiing has incurred promotionally effective liaisons with designers and artists since its beginning, as this books demonstrates with many examples. Selected sports competitions are shown in connection with their advertising materials since the beginning of the 20th Posters, book jackets, flyers, medals and buttons are a few examples.
