More about the book
I first took the PSM I exam in 2011 after completing Ken Schwaber's course. Having met Ken during a Scrum project in 2000, I had been managing Agile projects since then. Confident in my experience, I took the exam without studying, believing it unnecessary. I learned the hard way, scoring 82%—not enough to pass. A couple of years later, I decided to retake the exam and created a personal study guide with researched questions and answers, leading to the first iteration of this practice exam. Those original 80 questions are still available in my PMI-ACP Preparation Study Guide on Amazon. The current version has undergone seven major revisions for both the PSM I and PSPO I practice exams, along with numerous minor updates. Each Scrum Guide release prompts a new version, and I regularly explore blogs and the Scrum.org community for insights into questions and answers. I've also retaken the exam multiple times to ensure my practice exam content aligns with current questions. I'm pleased to report that I've scored no less than 94% since my initial attempt, occasionally missing 2 or 3 questions, often due to interpretation issues or contradictions in the Scrum Guide. Overall, the core principles of Scrum have remained consistent for 20 years.
