The tradition to copy manuscripts of old material lived among the general public in Iceland into the 20th century. The book of magic published here was copied by hand on a small farm in Iceland, Strandir district, in 1928 and gives an excellent example of the magic, which survived ever since such manuscripts were presented in 17th century courts. A book full of magic, secret signs and alphabets.
