Although the Bab is a Manifestion of God in the Baha'i Faith, he remains a very obscure figure, even to most Baha'is. Although his ministry lasted only from 1844-1850, the effect that his religion and writings have had is staggering.Whether or not you believe Baha'u'llah was the Bab's legitimate sucessor, his movement still merits study among students of comparative religion.
