However, trouble brews with the presence of a malicious literary critic, Zac Zebra, and self-published author Vernetta Strausmann, whose loud personality raises eyebrows. As expected, a mystery unfolds when a prominent editor collapses at the podium, poisoned by an unknown assailant. The situation escalates when a loathed journalist is violently attacked in the parking lot, suggesting a real-life murderer is among the attendees.
