The author, M. R. Sellars, born on February 20, 1962, has explored various religions and belief systems, remaining an avid student of religious diversity. He frequently gives lectures to dispel myths about WitchCraft. A member of The Nature Conservancy and the World Wildlife Fund, Sellars lives in St. Louis with his wife Kathy and their daughter Willow Ann, along with a collection of rescued animals. He is currently working on a cookbook and researching the third novel in the Rowan Gant Investigation Series. Sellars has received the Linda White Literary Excellence and Silver Quill Awards for his short stories, which inspired the first novel in the series.
