Murder in an Italian Piazza

More about the book

Bria Bartolucci has found a new lease on life since her husband's passing, running a successful B and B on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Known as the “Italian Miss Marple” after solving a couple of murders, her reputation may complicate her budding romance with the local police chief. The village is buzzing with excitement over the return of Carlotta Incantaro, a famous opera diva making a final public appearance. However, not everyone welcomes her back; Bria hears troubling stories about Carlotta's past, including her attempts to sabotage rivals and ruin another woman's music career. With Carlotta staying at her B and B, Bria experiences firsthand the diva's high-maintenance demands. Despite Carlotta's pianist trying to ease tensions by attributing her behavior to nerves over her daughter's wedding, Bria senses something is amiss. Her instincts prove correct when, after the performance, a body is discovered in the piazza. Drawn into a web of tragedy, Bria uncovers dark family secrets and deadly passions, revealing that the drama surrounding Carlotta’s swan song is just beginning.
