The Mouse in the Hammock, a Christmas Tale

More about the book

This award-winning story in the Mouse in the Hammock series teaches children how small acts of kindness can create a significant impact. A little mouse, who sleeps in a Christmas tree hammock, scurries around the house at night performing good deeds to prepare for Christmas. From tucking Baby Jesus into the manger to taste-testing cookies and cooling Santa’s hot cocoa, Mouse demonstrates that even the smallest creatures can make a difference. As Christmas approaches, while grown-ups are busy with parties and presents, it's up to someone tiny to handle the little things—like the Mouse in the Hammock. Inspired by a family's bedtime story, this tale highlights the importance of small gestures. A portion of the proceeds from the book and its accompanying Christmas ornament supports children in need, with over $10,000 donated to an orphanage in Haiti. By purchasing this book, you contribute to providing a safe place and education for children who have lost everything. The story is flexible, allowing the mouse to remain in his hammock all day or be moved around for fun, similar to other holiday traditions. This charming tale is perfect for kids aged 3 to 9, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of kindness during the festive season.
