Today it still stands for perfect quality with highest precision and it taught the Russian invaders the meaning of fear. This book will give an insight into the history of this extraordinary weapon, from its development via its manufacturing through to its use in the Winter War (1939 – 1940), Continuation War (1941 – 1944) and finally in the Lapland War (1944 – 1945). The majority of the more than 270 photos (some in color) used in this book are from the archive of the Finnish Defense Forces “SA-kuva-arkisto”.
