Útlá, ale obsahem zajímavá kniha. Villonem se zabýváduch tak moderní, jako Suares, současník a duchovní bratr Valérygi a Gida a všech kteří patří k moderní francouzské tvorbě. Není to román, jeden z četných a většinou velice zkreslujících románových biografií, jakých je o Villonovicelá řada. Je to nový druh prózy je to vlastně báseň o básníkovi. Tímto se Suarés vepsal do dějin moderní literatury.
