This book examines the most crucial period in Soviet history the formative years of Stalins state bureaucratic socialism. This, the author writes, was the manifestation of the ghost of Communism, which had until then remained only a possibility. This period also built the foundation that would exist for decades to come in some form or other during the war, after the war, and under all of Stalins successors, right up to the revolution that occurred in 1989 1991. The author considers the destruction of the peasantry as a class, industrialization, and the Great Purge the central events of this period.
Organizácia duševnej práce a predovšetkým práce riadiacej má čoraz väčší význam - už aj pre stály rast pomerného zastúpenia tejto kategórie zamestnancov. Je to jeden zo znakov postupujúcej vedeckotechnickej revolúcie a odstraňovania rozdielov medzi duševnou a fyzickou prácou.
