Kazuo Inamori

Kazuo Inamori is a Japanese philanthropist and entrepreneur, founder of Kyocera Corporation and KDDI Corporation, and chairman of Japan Airlines. A Zen Buddhist priest, he established the Inamori Foundation, which awards the annual Kyoto Prize to honor those who have made extraordinary contributions to science, civilization, and the spirituality of humankind.
