František R. Kraus

    October 14, 1903 – May 19, 1967

    Robert Kraus was an American children's author, cartoonist, and publisher. As the founder and publisher of Windmill Books, and an author and illustrator of award-winning children's books, Kraus began as a cartoonist and cover artist for The New Yorker. His works are noted for their distinctive visual style and approach to children's literature.
