Zachariáš Ursinus

    Zacharias Ursinus was a leading German Reformed theologian of the sixteenth century. He became a principal figure in the Reformed Protestant movement in the Palatinate, contributing significantly to both the University of Heidelberg and the College of Wisdom. Ursinus is most recognized as the primary author and interpreter of the Heidelberg Catechism. His theological insights profoundly shaped the trajectory of Reformed Protestant thought.
