Albert Derolez

    Albert Derolez is Emeritus Professor at the Free Universities of Brussels and formerly served as Curator of Manuscripts and Rare Books at the Library of the State University of Ghent. His scholarly work centers on the paleography of Gothic manuscript books from the twelfth to the early sixteenth century. As a leading expert in manuscript studies and a past president of the International Committee of Latin Paleography, Derolez has made significant contributions to the field.
