Pierre Barbet

Pierre Barbet was a French physician and chief surgeon at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Paris. His medical expertise and experiences as a battlefield surgeon during World War I fueled his research into the crucifixion of Jesus. He dedicated significant study to the anatomical accuracy and consistency of the Shroud of Turin with crucifixion, publishing his findings in a seminal work.
