Mary Anne Leslie, a dedicated educator and missionary, devoted her life to teaching and community service after training at the British and Foreign School Society. Her commitment to the Congregational Church led her to become a Sunday School secretary and later a superintendent of the Sabbath School in Lusignan. Following her marriage to Thomas Henderson, she embraced parenting his children while also establishing a Bible class. Her impactful nine-and-a-half years of ministry in Guiana highlight her passion for missionary work and education.
