Lloyd hat aufregende Wochen bei seinem Ferienjob im Luxushotel in den Bergen verbracht. Gemeinsam mit einigen Freunden hat er mal eben die Bösewichte hinter einer illegalen Trentzucht entlarvt. Zudem ist er einem lieben Freund aus seiner Vergangenheit im Dorf Konlon begegnet, den er allerdings doch nicht so gut zu kennen scheint wie gedacht ... Und dann machen ihm auch noch Neider, neue Monster und Übeltäter sowie die üblichen romantischen Irrungen und Wirrungen das Leben schwer!

Lloyd will endlich stärker werden. In den heiligen Bergen von Ascorbin wird er fündig: Dort soll ein Trainingslager den Anhängern aller Kampfkünste offenstehen. Doch schon kurz nach seiner Ankunft ist die Trainingsmeisterin Anzu mit ihrem Latein am Ende. Was soll sie einem Jungen beibringen, der im Alleingang ganze Berge zerstören kann?

Eine neue Technologie erobert die Reiche im Sturm: der Film. Weil in einem neuen Actionstreifen dringend billige Stuntdoubles gesucht werden, reisen Lloyd und Co an den Drehort im Nachbarreich Rokujo. Zwischen mysteriösen Schönheiten, königlichen Geheimnissen und finsteren Bösewichten muss man sich aber fragen: Folgt hier irgendjemand noch dem Drehbuch?

Willkommen in Konlon! Die Brigade um Lloyd reist in sein Heimatdorf, um der entkräfteten Wächterbestie Vritra zu alter Größe zu verhelfen. Doch statt fluffiger Dorfifidylle erwartet die Normalsterblichen der Gruppe ein Kulturschock der monströsen Art.

Nach seinem Training in Ascorbin hat Lloyd neues Selbstvertrauen gefunden und repräsentiert seine Klassenkameraden beim anstehenden Fest des Königreiches. Jedoch verschwindet der König während der Festlichkeiten. Lloyd ist der Einzige, der jetzt helfen kann.

Das Training unter dem Dämonenkönig Satan verhilft Lloyd zu etwas Selbstvertrauen, sodass er bei der Zeremonie des heiligen Berges, die Ascorbins neuen Fürsten bestimmen soll, Anzus angeschlagenem Clan unter die Arme greifen will. Doch die gegnerische Seite setzt ihm ausgerechnet seinen Freund Allan als Kontrahenten vor die Nase!

Um Eves Pläne aufzudecken, will das Königreich Azami das Grenzgefängnis Jigrock genauer unter die Lupe nehmen. Doch ganz anders als geplant landet Lloyd hinter schwedischen Gardinen und genießt es sogar! Schließlich ist er so tough, dass nicht nur die bösesten Insassen Angst vor ihm haben, sondern auch die Wächter. So wird ein kurzer Spaziergang zu einem unbewussten Gefängnisausbruch!

Ein Krieg scheint unausweichlich, weshalb Azami beschließt, Militärübungen an der Grenze zu Jio durchzuführen. Lloyd wird dazu auserkoren, die Truppen zu versorgen, doch aus unerfindlichen Gründen serviert er den feindlichen Soldaten Essen?! Auch in diesem Band erwarten Lloyd und die anderen Kadetten neue Abenteuer voller merkwürdiger Missverständnisse, während sie alles daran setzen, einen Krieg zu verhindern.

Die Dreharbeiten für den Film laufen weiter, allerdings geht es im Hintergrund heiß her: Filmstar Amidin will Lloyd an die Kehle, die Hauptdarstellerin ist eigentlich Mena Quinon und die vermisste Frau des Königs wird durch Nekromantie manipuliert?! Wie wird Lloyds letztes Abenteuer wohl enden?

Um Eve zu stoppen, wird eine internationale Konferenz mit den Anführern aller Länder einberufen. Azamis König ernennt Lloyd zum Repräsentanten und verleiht ihm die Autorität, im Namen des Reichs zu handeln. Als Eve Lloyd jedoch verfällt, gerät alles aus den Fugen.

Die Spannungen zwischen Azami und dem Jio-Imperium verschärfen sich mit jedem Tag, sodass sich die Armee gezwungen sieht, mit allen Gilden zu kooperieren, um sich auf einen möglichen Krieg vorzubereiten. Um sie für sich zu gewinnen, werden die Gildenmeister zum anstehenden Staatsball geladen. Marie ernennt Lloyd zu ihrem Tanzpartner. Droht ihr Geheimnis, dass sie in Wahrheit Azamis Prinzessin ist, ans Licht zu kommen?

Lloyd hat gerade noch rechtzeitig das Freundschaftsturnier erreichen und seinen Freunden im Kampf gegen Eug und ihren Partnern helfen können. Es bleibt aber die Frage, wie mit dem Jio-Imperium zu verfahren ist. König Sardin hat eine Idee …

Durch seinen Erfolg beim Militärfest von Azami sind Lloyds Fähigkeiten jetzt Gesprächsthema im gesamten Königreich. Deshalb wird er mit Jobangeboten nur so überhäuft, doch am liebsten möchte er im Rahmen eines Praktikums überall hineinschnuppern.
