Florian Hilleberg has always enjoyed making up stories and writing essays that allowed his imagination to run wild. His earliest publications appeared in a collector's edition of the pulp novel series JOHN SINCLAIR. After completing his civilian service, he moved to Göttingen to study forestry engineering. During this time, his creativity took a hiatus, only to be reignited after graduation, partly at the urging of Alisha Bionda with whom he worked on the literary platform www.literra.info. For this portal, he penned several short stories and his own online series. His first novella was published in 2012. Concurrently, Hilleberg worked as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Since 2014, he has authored nearly one hundred novels for the JOHN SINCLAIR, MADDRAX, and PROFESSOR ZAMORRA series, as well as the paperback Brandmal, co-written with Dr. Mark Benecke. His work also includes dystopian tales and detective novellas featuring Sherlock Holmes. Hilleberg also occasionally writes scripts for radio plays and audiobooks. Regardless of the genre or medium, he consistently invests significant heart into the characterization of his figures, emphasizing their authenticity above all.
