Swami Abhedananda

    Swami Abhedananda was a sanyasin associated with the Bengali Renaissance of Vaishnavite Vedanta. His teachings focused on spreading the message of Vedanta, a theme on which he authored several books. After returning to India, he established the Ramakrishna Vedanta Math in Calcutta and Darjeeling. He was the last surviving direct disciple of the mystic Sri Ramakrishna.
