      Growing up in a Lincolnshire cottage during World War Two, Judith Nicholls has made significant contributions to children's poetry, publishing over forty collections and appearing in numerous anthologies. She views poetry as a means of exploration and understanding, emphasizing the creative process behind her work. After many years of sharing her craft through school visits, she has compiled a selection of her poetry for Hobnob Press, celebrating her enduring passion for language and storytelling, even as her earlier works have largely gone out of print.
