Antonin Varenne

    January 1, 1973

Antonin Varenne was born in Paris in 1973, but after a few months, his parents took him to live in various places across France and even on a sailboat. He only returned to Paris at age twenty to pursue his studies in philosophy in Nanterre, focusing on Machiavelli and political illusion. After completing his degree, he left university and worked diverse jobs, including as a high-rise construction climber, living in Iceland and Mexico. In 2005, he settled in the Appalachian Mountains, where he decided to put his first story to paper. Returning to France with his American wife, bilingual child, and Mexican dog, he settled in the Creuse region and now dedicates his time to writing.
