Max Dingler

    May 14, 1883 – June 28, 1961

    Max Gottfried Dingler was a German zoologist and dialect poet. Following World War II, he retreated into private life, dedicating himself to the preservation of the Bavarian language. His poems, stories, and folk plays in dialect are now considered a significant contribution to the history of Bavarian literature.
