Author of the beloved children's series about Rasmus Klump the bear, created in collaboration with her husband, illustrator Vilhelm Hansen. This series, which debuted in Denmark in 1951, soon became one of the most popular European children's comics. The stories, chronicling the adventures of a bear, a pelican, a penguin, and other animals, were translated into numerous languages. Although the authoring duo ceased writing and drawing after 1965, their names remained on the albums, cementing their legacy.
