Lena Kiefer Biography
Lena Kiefer discovered her passion for writing after an initial foray into the legal world. Her narratives are known for their compelling style and strong female characters who explore themes of love, loss, and personal growth. As a writer of New Adult and YA fantasy, she excels at crafting intricate worlds and emotionally resonant stories.






Lena Kiefer studied German language and literature and education at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and then worked as an editor in marketing. She lives with her husband near Bremen.
In 2019, her dystopian novel trilogy Ophelia-Scale was published by cbj Kinderbücher Verlag. The Don't-Love-Me series was published in 2020 and 2021, all three volumes of which made the Spiegel bestseller list.
The novel Heavy & Light from the Westwell series, published by LYX Verlag (Bastei Lübbe) in June 2022, reached number 3 on the Spiegel bestseller list for paperback fiction, with the two subsequent volumes both reaching number 1.
