Following the short run of Zombiepowder, the author achieved immense success with his next series, which follows a high school student who becomes a soul reaper and battles otherworldly spirits. This iconic manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since its 2001 debut, becoming a global phenomenon.
